Happy Christmas, people!
Well, I haven't been online for a while because my computer has been on the fritz, but I am here typing on my brand new one, so that's good. I just looked at my guestbook and say that someone left me a message asking me to write about something other than myself and my pathetic life. Hmm....what is wrong with that statement? Let's think. A diary is something a person can write their thoughts in or write about their day in. There isn't much point in me writing about something other than myself. Sheesh. Well, not much has happened to me. The most important thing I suppose would be that I dropped Algebra 2. The reasoning for this is that I just can't to it. I come in early for help, I stay late for help, I got a tutor, I take notes, I do my homework, and I ask for help from the teacher. It's crazy. I decided to take an easier math class for the rest of this year and then try Algebra 2 again next year. It might be benificial. I didn't really want to quit...I've been trying so hard and it's a terrible feeling knowing that you did your best and it's still not good enough. I hate feeling like I can't do things. I try and act like failing things doesn't upset me, but it really does. I hate failing, although I don't really know anyone that does. Well, I tried, and this is the only thing I feel I can do at this point, so we'll see how it goes. In other news, I have written a lot more in the story I have been working on. I have about 12,000 words and I am really proud of everything I have written. I really think that it's good stuff, too. I want nothing more than to publish a book. I want to create something that someone can love as much as I love some of the books I've read. It makes me happy because I'm really fond of my characters. Before when I write things I haven't quite been so...caught up in what happens to them. It's nice, caring about people I have created. Makes me happy! Oh! For Christmas, I got oodles. The main things that I feel I should share are my Final Fantasy X-2 game, my computer, and my Pirates of the Carribean DVD. Huzzah! |
